I Went Into the Garage for a Toolbox and Found Something Unexpected

That morning, I went into the garage just to find an old toolbox I had not used in years.

The garage usually belonged to my husband and was filled with old items and forgotten projects.

The light above flickered slightly, making the space feel colder and quieter than normal.

I felt like something about the garage was different, almost like it was waiting for me.

I walked slowly between the shelves, scanning for the toolbox I came to find.

But even after it was gone, the image stayed in my mind for days.

It made me realize how easily something can grow unnoticed right next to us.
